We are going there.
You became a teacher because you love children. You wanted to be THAT teacher they remember forever.
Somewhere along the way the job turned into managing meltdowns, bribing kiddos with sticker charts, and moving clips up and down a rainbow. Some days you are exhausted before 9am. Behaviors keep getting more intense as screens take over children's lives.
You've maybe tried the charts or the bucket filling books (I did both once upon a time). You've tried the reward systems (desk pets anyone??). You have googled “behavior strategies for preschool” at 10pm in your pajamas and still felt like poking your own eyeball out.
We hear you. We have got something for you!!
Behavior is communication.
When children act out, act up, or shut down, they are telling you something. They are running on empty.
Fill them up BEFORE the behaviors show up and your days get easier, your relationships with your kiddos get stronger, and your classroom starts to feel like the one you dreamed about (the one with zero clip charts).
