HEY, Play People!
Kristen is going on a USA tour in 2026 and could be headed to a city near you!
see where Kristen is going!
You’ve sat through enough Zooms and enough trainings where not everyone is "on board" with play. In person is where you can actually touch, try, laugh, and walk away with ideas you’ll remember and use right away. And when you are surrounded by like minded people - it can be life changing!
what you can expect...

🌟 A Keynote That Hits Different
Not another boring lecture. Get ready for a keynote that flips the script on teaching, inspires big feels, and maybe even makes you laugh-cry a little.
🎨 Hands-On Play Time
Even you can’t learn by sitting still! You’ll dive into creative experiences you can actually take back to your classroom.
🤝 New Play BFFs
Connect with educators who believe in play as much as you do. Swap stories, ideas, and maybe even snacks.
🪞 Real Talk + Reflection with Like-Minded People
You know that feeling when you have to explain why play matters? Yeah... this isn’t that kind of conference. Every single person in the room believes in play as much as you do. You’ll be surrounded by educators who get it, who speak your language, and who are just as passionate about letting children learn through joy, curiosity, and discovery. The energy in the room will lift you up, refill your cup, and remind you that you’re not alone in this movement—you’re part of something bigger!
🎁 Secret Surprises
I can’t tell you everything (where’s the fun in that?), but let’s just say… I always have a few tricks up my sleeve.
I'm not giving you the whole agenda, but I can tell you this...
Play doesn’t live in a lesson plan! It can’t be scripted.
Children know this. And we do too. We need room to wander, to get surprised, to chase the energy in the room like, “oh THAT’S where the magic is happening! Let’s go there.”
So instead of locking us into some rigid little box, I’m asking you to lean in. Trust the process. Trust play. Trust that being in a room (or outdoor classroom) with other humans who care about childhood the way you do… is exactly the medicine we all need.
Expect laughter, reflection, and a few goosebump moments. Expect to do, not just sit. We’ll explore hands-on materials, unpack those sneaky teacher habits that steal the joy, and get curious about what happens when we say yes a little more often. There’ll be stories that make you think, conversations that make you nod, and activities that remind you what it feels like to play again.
You’ll leave with practical ideas for your classroom, a full heart, and maybe a few smudges of paint or dirt on your hands which is proof that you showed up ready to learn the way children do: through play.
If you see this badge - it means that tour stop has a PLAY focus!
At the play-focused tour stops, we’ll dive deep into the heart of play-based learning. You’ll experience a full day designed to spark creativity, reflection, and transformation in your teaching practice. Expect hands-on experiences that get you thinking, laughing, and reimagining how children learn best. You’ll explore how play connects to early learning standards, how to say “yes” more often, and how to design environments that invite curiosity and independence.
This isn’t your typical sit-and-listen professional development day (I don't do anything basic around here) it’s interactive, joyful, and a little unpredictable (in the best way). You’ll walk away with fresh inspiration, practical strategies, and a renewed belief in the magic of childhood.
If you see this badge - it means that tour stop has NATURE PLAY focus (dress for the weather!)
The focus is still play with a sprinkle of nature mixed in! You’ll walk away knowing how to see your outdoor space as an extension of your indoor classroom and full of ideas for bringing more of the outdoors in. You don’t have to be a nature preschool or forest school to join us, but you will leave inspired to get your kids outside even more!
