How many ways can you use pom poms in play?
We have found some creative ways to provoke curiosity with a super simple material that most classrooms already have in their cupboard. Pairing them with everyday items like ice cube trays, muffin tins, fruit baskets, and lemon squeezers can supply endless hours of fun and learning.
Sewing and Weaving
Sewing and weaving can often be forgotten about. We have some simple materials that we have found that when paired together will provide ample creative exploration and expression.
Low-Temp Glue Guns
This was one of my FAVORITE things to let children explore with in the classroom. When we trust children with materials that are often meant for adults, they gain confidence and are able to build so many muscles, construct learning and exercise their creative muscles!!

Hi, I'm Kristen!
I am passionate about advocating for play-based learning and creativity. I started my journey in a traditional preschool program, but when I "found play" everything changed. I realized that I needed to start my own program to give children a true, developmentally appropriate childhood and learning experience!
Along my own path to foster my creativity, I have embraced the essence of play and collaborated with other creators like James Victore to harness the power of creativity. It hasn't been easy, but it's been worth it. And I know nurturing your own creativity will be a game-changer for you!
