The Play Retreat was a huge success! So many memories and connections were made.  We sang, laughed, played, watched dolphins and learned. Now on to plan the next one!!

International Plant Appreciation Day Thursday April 13th is International Plant Appreciation Day! If you didn't already know, Kristen is a huge lover of plants so I'm sure she will be giving hers a little extra attention that day! Give some plants around you a little extra attention too... maybe try nicely speaking to them because it helps support their growth! 

Why didn't I think of that?   Create a little sensory nook for the kiddos. Here we have some fun string lights hung up and a flip sequin blanket hanging up underneath a counter. This also creates a great spot for children who are feeling overwhelmed and just need a private space to go. 

What's up with Kristen? 

Maybe if I put smart things here they will become quotes some day.

And adult's need for control over children is a direct connection to the lack of control the adult feels in their own life.  

Is there truth to this?  Something to ponder...
